Swami Vivekananda

Swami Vivekananda was a philosopher Combined with a spiritual leader He promoted brotherhood between all religions While also fueling Indian nationalism He modernized religion into what we know He promoted that all religions Have the same God But the way in each religion is different All religions are the same Just with different practices He went to Chicago to given a speech His speech in Chicago still echoes out to this day from 1893 That influence the likes of Tesla, Rockefeller and others And many more to follow Most of the Indian national leaders influenced by him He met with Ramakrishna To attain moksha He believed that if you serve a person You are serving God himself That every living person or animal In that soul There is God He also advocated That the Indian people Should stand up as a whole
