Existence

Some lives are like the Albatross, Spanning their giant wings Across the limitless sky; Never losing the sight of the shoal In the ocean blue. Swooping down to pick the catch It needs for sustainence, It's wings kissing the ocean foam It soars high, with the prize in it's beak And the gail under it's feather.
Some lives are like the Emperor Penguin, Flightless but resilient in the snow, Traveling miles in the snowy blizzard Carrying the one precious egg on its feet Sheltered in the warm under belly. Subzero mercury, gusty storms, Dwindling shoals, fail to hamper their existence They triumph never the less.
Some lives are like the cuckoo Filling the air with the magical call Ushering the bountiful spring! Few remember it's ultimate motive To displace the crow eggs in the nest To bring up it's own progeny At the cost of its host.
Some lives are like the Weaver bird Deftly creating it's wonderful dwellings Such is the inimitable crafts It leaves the world amazed! Yet they are so inconspicuous Work is their motto More exquisite the creation More is their chance of survival.
Majority of the lives are like the Crows, the owls, the hens and the ducks Playing the necessary role in the fight for survival. So very essential, yet so taken for granted! Perhaps this is how the world is so balanced And life is coexisting! Perhaps, this is why there is laughter amongst tears, Hope amongst despair, Love amongst violence Sympathy amongst misunderstanding, Resilience amongst adversity
More importantly, the Will to survive, To excel, to be victorious Makes LIFE WORTH LIVING!
