Sweet Summer Child by

Sweet summer child
Winter has come,
Take your flowers
And come along,
Let’s go to the place of rainbows and sunshine
Let’s pretend that the cold never touched your side.
Birds and bees,
Summer cool breeze,
All that you love
Will now freeze,
You’ll be standing there wondering
What went wrong with your loving.
Believe me child, when I say,
All that’s gone will come back again,
Till then you feel and taste the snowflakes
And find happiness in the darkest places.
Provide warmth to all those who need it
Be the ray of hope in their bad days
Be the reason for their twinkle in the eye
Be the one who makes everyone smile.
