Sunday Poem By Daniela Marian (Romania)

Like a nymph

Oh, magicalDemiurge, Face shine in the waters, You call the moon with the stars To the sad and handsome prince, He stand kneeling on the stones, He has been waiting for Catalina The pure girl in the story. "I see her, she is like a nymph, And she dances gracefully In the hum of the plains, She smell the fragrant flowers, She hears the rustle of the woods The leaves are greenish, glossy, The wind with the branches on the arm, He strokes the girl's cheeks, He blushes with pleasure A chorus of nightingales He sings the ballad of longing”. The seasons pass quickly And the years passed unseen, It was his early departure In his soul a melancholy Analtar of offerings In this all blessed life. He wrote poems for bride. He likened Saint Mary to Catalina, A love so much for Romania. I dedicated this poem, Genius of Romanian literature,Mihai Eminescu.
