13. DREAMS

I get up startled, The night still covers the world With a dark veil, The morning waits for its turn To cuddle life in its vivacious arms, I’ve got a scary dream, I look for someone to hug me tight, Tell me that everything will be fine!
The world sleeps, I keep turning and tossing on my bed, My dream, strong and glaring, Its intensity refuses to die, I open my laptop, Connect to internet, Study the postulates on dreams, Wonder if it was A nightmare of one of the past lives, Or something destined to happen in future, I get no answers, I shudder...
I contemplate, I reflect, Fear is indeed a mammoth rakshasa Pouncing upon all those Who are ready to become a prey... The music resonates in my ears, “Whate’er will be, will be!”
I close my eyes, I’ve conquered my fears, I lie down again, I get a peaceful sleep And the dreams do not disturb me anymore!
