All were given hymn books, Mostly xeroxed pages, In a folder, And some read them by night. They were very grateful hymns, And thanked the Lord immensely. No one spoke of confinement, Of unbearability, Of injustice, They san g in very obedient voices, Hymns of praises, And were sent back into their cells
