I saw a blue bird
It had a piercing beak
And a envious eye
With a dainty white touch
Its quills were orange flanked
And body was in a bluish wear
Its legs were trembling
And tail,
Was stirring up and down
Up again…
Its little forehead
Had some cyphers of stress
Perhaps it was green-eyed
Of the human race
Rescinding its cherished habitat.
