Sunday Poem By Rejuan Sardar

Fill My Heart With Thy Fragrance

Anatomy of mine is filled and perplexed
By thy amorous fragrance, is divine;
Fluorescent light of the night descended
But thy enigma, remains still in moonshine.
The Day that never is to be forgotten
When touched my heart by the smile,
The barren land was downtrodden
By thy glimpses in my heart’s aisle.
Oh dear! Please let us not depart.
Let my heart fill thy enigmatic fragrance,
To not be evaporated in rain or in desert
Till my last breath or in my omnipresence.
Arabia’s yonder box, I shall never desire,
As my heart is intoxicated by thy aroma.
Seclude can I, myself or decline an empire,
To pursue your thoughts, I can live in pagoda.
Of Love! If it is it, may II, ay not know.
The serenity of thy dreams, all I can feel;
Like yearning of buds to bloom and lights to glow,
And I, to be addicted more in thee, is my healing zeal.
