Sunday Poem By Tapas Dey

Marble society

Bird’s sweet song
Roused me from my sleep.
Two day’s hunger
Presented me the first sun light.
The gentle wind
Made my mind full of rejoice.
The whole day
Afflicted me with empty stomach.
But the evening
Put a question before the opulent society,
When another beggar
Offered me half destiny of his alms.
