The monsoon memories…of Reflection and Pensive moods

The monsoon melodies and the reflections create a soundscape about rain. Rains that are relentless, rains that are often full of toxicity and yet humming rains that weave magical melodies. It is one of those instances when the mind, heart, black eyes, silver-throated geese-skinned sky enjoys the pitter-patter across the silver borders of the land. Land subsides, dreams remain full of disparities and yet the unsung tunes of poem, stories, love, song, paintbrushes and sleep gift me a canopy to hide my mischievous mornings. Sunday mornings and rain, Raining Sundays and raging, rain-filled afternoons are thus an elixir- a kind of regular, syllabic exercise in creative writing that is lasting, or often, that vapourizes without any notice.
It is the sheer magic of monsoon melodies that make our writers in Sunday Talks come up with new and exquisite pieces of creative writing and artwork. Love, separation, pain, nature, relationships and multiple other varieties are there which the writers have experimented with. If it is about the spontaneous flow of emotions or emotions and sentiments recollected in tranquility, then our writers are just doing that. We have received translations into different languages, Sunday thoughts and reflective poems as part of this Sunday issue.
