কোভিড, কমছে বাড়ছে, একেক দেশ একেক রকম ভাবে প্রতিক্রিয়া দিচ্ছে তার সাথে।
খালি তার মধ্যেই, যারা চলে গেল, আর ফিরে আসে না।
সেই দেশি বিদেশি ভালোলাগার ভালোবাসার মানুষদের জন্য দুটি ভাষাতেই রাখলাম অক্ষরের পাপড়ি।

পাখি
যে পাখি আমার গাছের ছায়ায়
শিষ দিয়ে সুর ছড়িয়েছে
কাল এসে বলে গেলো
সে আমার কেউ ছিলো না
আমি ঘাড় নেড়ে বললাম
বেশ তো।
নীল আকাশ হলুদ রোদ মেঘের ছায়ানট
চারপাশে ঝুরঝুর ঝিরঝির করে
ঝরে পড়তে থাকলো।
রাশি রাশি ঝরা পাতার বৃষ্টি
শিরশিরে হাওয়া হয়ে
জড়িয়ে গেলো গায়ে।
ছোট্ট পাখি আমার গয়নার বাক্সে
আটকে পড়ে বলল
” আমি নেই কিন্তু, নেই কিন্তু, নেই
আমি কক্ষনো ছিলাম না——”
তখন সব জায়গায় ঝিকমিক
চিকমিক কুচি কুচি হাসির হীরে
গড়িয়ে পড়তে পড়তে বলল
নেই কিন্তু নেই কিন্তু নেই কিন্তু
কলমের বাক্সে ময়ুরকন্ঠি রেশমি আঁচলে
কাজলের টানে, গুঁড়ো হয়ে থাকা চুলের গোছায়
চন্দনি গন্ধ ছড়িয়ে
হাসিরা ফুরফুর করে মাথা নাড়তে নাড়তে
বলল
বটেই তো, ঠিক কথাই তো,নেই কিন্তু
উঁহু কোত্থাও নেই। নেই কিন্তু।

The bird that had sung among the shadow of my leaves

The intricately curved rich sandalwood pen
The silken cloth of peacock hue
The kohl waiting to line eyelashes
The hairlocks curling around as a frame
All smelled of musk, of fragrance love
Of fluttering laugh
