What was in the rain

The rain in sheets lashed the ground.
The leaves fluttered without a sound

The rush of the rain making everything hazy.
Oh the joy of being together on a day so lazy!

What was in the rain that I looked at the misty sky above?
A pair of crows taking shelter beside us near the wall.
The rain, the beautiful rain knows it all.
