Having blessed with a scientific bent of mind, Stephen penned the most acclaimed book “A Brief History of Time”, which was put on the list of best seller in just 237 weeks by Sunday Times. A record breaking achievement indeed!
Hawking had been a live member of various reputed science organisations and an active supporter of the different discoveries and theories of Quantum Mechanics. Received the highest civilian award “Presidential Medal of Freedom” from the United States. After completing his journey of 76 years, he breathed his last a couple of years ago. A Brilliant scientist, a sensible husband, a nobel human being, a lovely friend and above all an embodiment of Himalayan spirit and prowess!!
