Children,Grandfather and the Universal Brotherhood Day

The children of the colony were playing together.
Were full of joy and laughter.

Suddenly someone hurt someone.
What to say– can guess anyone!!

They all approached to grandfather.
Who is a wise man and is very familiar.

They complained about each other.
“Such mischief”, They said,”we will not bother..!.”

Then grandfather started with a smile,
“Do you know the significance of the day oh dear children ,in hive?”

They all replied,”11th September,today is.
Why you are asking instead of judging…?”

“On this very day ,our own Swami Vivekananda
Delivered the iconic speech in the United states of America.

The delegates of the very first World Parliament of Religion
Were moved by his supreme vision.

“Sisters and brothers of America “, Swami Vivekananda started his speech with this address.
Won the hearts of the world delegates.

He spread the message of mutual tolerance.
Should we follow him for our acceptance.

Remembering his influencing speech,delivered in Chicago.
Universal Brotherhood Day is observed on 11th September.

So, we should follow his ideology as true human beings.
We should always keep in mind,his great humanistic teachings. “

The children realized the importance of the grandfather speech and also of the day .
“We all are brothers and sisters “—- they again mingled like clay.
