Smart problems always require smarter solutions, and if not going by this combinatory aspect, then definitely, comes the smartest as the superlative conjecture here-Our readers might be wondering why this conundrum. Since last few months, controversies have been escalating in some of our literary discussions, as well as in parts of regularized and not-so-regularized pandemic-affected conversations, how the world of digital literature is evolving, developing and creating an interesting niche among literature lovers. E-books, blogs, literary webzines, online journals, online and Kindle edition books have not been the obvious substitutes for hard copies, yet they have retained their own uniqueness and literary flavour.
Scott Rettberg, in his famous work on Electronic Literature, gives us very succinct and insightful information regarding reconsidering different genres in electronic literature, going through some of the most primary and futuristic aspects dabbling in parts of digital literature and hypertext fictions, combinatory poetics and kinetic and interactive poetry have come to occupy and rejuvenate the entire strata of traditional reading, writing, simulation, and discourse. Rettberg says:
“Electronic literature attempts to place the most significant genres of electronic literature in historical, technological, and cultural contexts to make the subject more readily accessible.”
We are not essentially looking at who is far superior or where the loopholes of traditional printed literature lie, but we are trying to focus on the parallel structures that are created both in the printed and in the E-literature domain. Printing cost, branding, space and digital optimization, production of quality work all explore the specific capabilities of computer and network. The gradual sustainability of:
  • How we see digital literature
  • On what grounds do we incorporate necessary alterations and modifications
  • The perspectives on Ergodic literature
  • How do I read digital literature
  • What can be inferred about the reception of the same
Everything gets documented under this discussion.
