Sunday Poems by Anshuparni Biswas
Looking through the glass of water
Counting the thirst of mirage,
Figuring the burns of shells
Depicting the fire under coverage.
Hope and sorrow go hand in hand
Until the sun wakes up,
Dressing the wounds again and again-
Calibrating the spirit of dove.
Thinking about the nature of catastrophe
Merging the knots of fear,
Assassinating the range of evil
Why not stand alone to be mere?
