A matter of blessings

Amid the severe cyclonic storm that has promised to encourage in an irreparable damage to the states once more, the devotion, the religious sentiments and above all a silent belief on the Lord of the Heaven still manage to rule the roost without leaving any room of doubt. Trust is something which is put into an acid test during the moment of crisis! This is not something very usual nor unconventional to discover the poor mass seeking the blessings of the supreme powers for safety and security!
It is an auspicious hour indeed! A perfect blend of Buddha Purnima, Ghandheshwari Puja and the lunar eclipse! Lord Buddha realised the essence of this short life, taught the lessons of peace to not only the King Ashoka after the gory battle of Kalingya but also the mass after he attained enlightment under the peepal tree in forty days. Teaching the people and making them find the right path towards the desired destination really deserve a special mention here. On the other hand, the Godddess Ghandeshwari is worshipped today by her devotees. She is believed to be the incarnation of Goddess Durga, has four arms and riding a lion. Primarily she is worshipped by the business community. She saved the community by killing a demon and therefore the reverence is paid to her every year amid the burning candles, incense sticks and blowing of conch shells. As these two have coincided at this very hour, the pouring of grace becomes a matter of compulsion. Devotees are lucky enough to drench themselves to their feet! However, the occurrence of the lunar eclipse and the blood moon has cast a silhouette on our minds. The blood moon is considered inauspicious. The reason is obvious. The evil souls open their eyes to entrap the mortal world! Quite a few number of advices are also there to escape the evil impact of this lunar eclipse. But the fact is, when He is looking after the whole matter, it is a pointless exercise to worry or bleed the soul or walk upon the thorns of life!
The storm is here. The destruction is evident. The disease is deadly. But the God’s mercy is also there to shine in the darkness. A clemency will surely appear in the sky of torment and trauma to save this creation. Faith can even move the mountains. So let us keep this faith, sum up our energy and confidence to face every single bit of calamity crossing our path to make this existence reach the fettle of jeopardy!!
