Treatise on Buddha by Kunal Roy

Lord Buddha once said to his disciples that all the problems of the cosmos would have been solved if we talk to one another instead of talking about one other! But how far these words are true in today’s scenario? It seems as if his axiom has become a farce! The reason is not unknown to us. Everywhere, be it at home, among friends, at gathering or any where else, there are thousands and one to point out your mistakes, your errors, but the point is the entire act is being indulged silently and that too without any first hand knowledge of the victim. Strange behaviour!
If you really want a complete solution to the problem , it is better to sit with the alleged, enquire of the matter and try heart and soul to restore harmony to the place! What I beg to state is the problem lies in our mental make up!! We never really want to solve anything at the very outset, we prefer to linger the matter and enjoy to our heart’s content. But it cannot continue long and we have to pause at a certain point of time. I want to assert that this could have been avoided if we had been a little more sensitive and pampered a kind of lateral thinking! In fact we must not forget that we are humans and being human is the one and only way to uphold our dignity.
Embarrassing others without any such proper reason shouldn’t be the thought of the day! Time has really matured to transit from the plane of passion to emotion where a true judgement is hoped to matter without a second thought!!
