His Day: Let us pay our reverence to Him! A Tribute: 20 June: International Father’s Day

With the passage of time, one matures and learns to do the things in one’s own possible way. But the journey began with a person long ago. He is none other than our father. “Father”, the word contains the elements of love, trust, friendship, support and above all a ceaseless flow of encouragement that aids one to excel, to survive the perfect onslaughts of time. A father’s sacrifice in bringing up his own child is not less than of his or her mother. The first lap of comfort is that of father’s. The first visit in school is with him. The first birthday gift is from him, the first drop of advice is from him and the first friendship on the earth is with him! However, the chemistry of relation between the two souls’ changes with time as the grown-up individual, once a child, desires to put forth his or her own views and suggestions as well. Yet the hoary headed person takes the final and the right decision! He believes in teaching the values and discipline in every phase of life. The morals as well as the ideals set by him, which if followed will help to amass the true riches of life! Truly, I must admit he is the “best” person in the world, taking care of every small thing of our life. The Param Guru indeed! Today is his day. Today is the International Father’s Day. But it will matter the most, if we show our true reverence to him, instead of blindly observing the day!!
