Poetry – Orbindu Ganga

Ant – The gleaner

Random sprouts left
With many minuscule glean
Unfurled on the floor,
From nowhere did I see
A curve line moving,
Some trying to move away
To be falling in the line,
Rolling the pieces together
Forming a synergy,
Discipline has been veined
With the knighted system,
Shying from the work
Have never been imbued,
Cleaving the gleans
Made the cleaners to shy away,
Cleanliness is never a rope to hang
With madness to rinse the leftover,
Magical drains of supplement
They provide to clean the space,
Many argue the lighter veins
They juggle to perform the task,
A very little is evinced
To the world of their adroitness,
None are aware of the gleaners
With the minuscule size
With the minuscule task
To cleanse our home,
To let us stay away from smut
Cleaning the society from grime.
