Poetry – Swagata Chongdar

Survival

Rising Up and Falling Down
Over and over again,
Unraveling which way to emerge
Until I am dead on the ground.
Now I can’t make a commotion
As the world broke in,
The heart bleeds with the mind
And the beauty lies in an ugly world
The moonlight seizes the serene magic
Beholding the wings of strength
Searching for tranquility and clenching solitude
The soul is crushed and wanders for love
For my sexuality is found
And I wreathe in this absurdity
Like I don’t know I am bound.
