Not the sweeteners but the day of sweets. A Touch of Gastronomical Delights

There is hardly any person in the whole world who does not love sweets or any sweet dish. It is indeed a matter of compulsion to serve sweets of great variety in every occasion you attend! Sweets are really connected to our souls and a single day without them appears to be dull and lifeless. The tongue always wants a different taste,  but not essentially a bitter pill with a sugar coat!
There are millions and millions of sweet dishes in our nation. But rosogolla is such an item which basically originated in the eastern India under the able hegemony of Nabin Chandra Das. The sweets prepared were served before the God Jagannath in Puri. The tradition is still in vogue. It is considered auspicious to have a tiny bite of the “prasad” by His devotees. A single segment on your tongue will dissolve all your problems and the days of success and prosperity will continue like the flow of a river through the lands and mountains before it mingles with the echoes of an ocean. Moreover, the demand for rosogolla is sky high as there is a less chance of using unhealthy stuff to prepare it! Compared to other sweet dishes which are also hugely popular among the mass, rosogolla still manages to stand out of the crowd! The smell, the colour, the shape, the fragrance and above all the taste cater a sense of heavenly bliss!
Rosogolla is an integral part of our culture and civilization. But what about our innate sweetness which doesn’t come from any food item! No matter how many sweet dishes we consume, if the heart is replete with venomous thoughts and ideas, the purpose of this existence will be in question! So the sweetness of a person comes from the manner he has been nurtured by his family. The words leaving his or her mouth are not meant to hurt but to heal the long hidden injuries. Sweetness doesn’t lie on our looks and get ups ,but the manner we embrace the humanity and always think of doing something good to the world and her people! Rosogolla and others are just meant to pacify your taste buds and appease your appetite!  Donot stop loving them! After all the mouth and the heart should always be in sync with one another!!
